Flesh and Blood

Painted masonite, rigid foam insulation, wood, acrylic paint
2015
Dimensions variable

Two-sided drawings/paintings are arranged on a pair of folding frameworks, allowing the viewer to walk around the structure and see both sides of each object, as well as through the work. The zig-zag frames are meant to highlight the collapsing of three dimensional object-hood into flat two dimensional drawings.

This work was created for the exhibition Flesh and Blood at the Or Gallery, curated by Jonathan Middleton.
